Select the circle and use the F8-functionkey to change itΓÇÖs behaviour to a Movie Clip. Select ΓÇÿflashlightΓÇÖ in the Library to edit. To mask any objects out of the flashlight range I used a huge ΓÇÿmask-fieldΓÇÖ with the circle cut out in the centre. Select the circle again and use ΓÇÿGroupΓÇÖ (CTRL-G). Draw a rectangle with no outlines and a black fill. Use the Object Menu to set the Width and Height of rectangle shape to 2200 x 1800 pixels. Be sure to align both the ΓÇÿmask-fieldΓÇÖ and the circle to the centre of the edit-field (CTRL-K). To cut out the circle just use the Break Apart-command (CTRL-B) on the grouped circle. It will merge into the ΓÇÿmask-fieldΓÇÖ.
